Introducing NI Food Tours

NI Food Tours are for Foodies and those who just love good food and drink!

If you’re visiting Northern Ireland for the first time or you live here, come on an NI Food Tour and get to know the food of County Down – where we have more award winning Producers and Restaurants than anywhere else in NI!

Tracey your local Tour Guide has an in depth knowledge of where to find great local Producers, where you will hear their story and taste their produce. You will sample foods as varied as single estate whiskey to artisan dulse wheaten bread and everything in between! We will stop for a bite to eat at a local award winning Restaurant where the emphasis is on very fresh and very local.

We are proud to work with

  • Working with NI food tours made my corporate team meeting 100% stress free. NI food tours was such a joy to work with. They have amazing customer service skills and determination to make your event exactly what you asked for! NI food tours customer service was superb before, during, and after the event. I would HIGHLY recommend NI food tours for any type of event! Tracey took care of all the logistics, transportation, menus, team building and truly were the face of our group. As a  project manager of the corporate event, it was so nice to actually enjoy our event while NI food tours did all of the work.

I  appreciate all of the guidance in helping us put together the agenda. And all of the attention to the details in executing all of the moving parts flawlessly! Several of my colleagues  stated that the friendly and knowledgeable tour guides were one of the highlights of the week. They also said it was the BEST corporate event EVER! It was a pleasure to work with Tracey and her responsiveness, creativity and dedication to deliver the best attendee experience truly helped make our event a success. I would recommend anyone to use NI food tours for their corporate team meetings.

  • Well, we got back home safely albeit about 10 pounds heavier (thanks to you).  The places you took us to were brilliant and greatly enjoyed.  You obviously have put a ton of thought into how to present Northern Ireland’s food scene in an extremely positive light.  Not knowing what to expect I think that everyone was pleasantly surprised with all of the terrific offerings that you put together – from manor homes to chef homes to distilleries to waterside shacks to French cuisine to lovely pubs to your own home (and delightful Fred).

Look forward to the chance to try to get a few of our clients to consider Northern Ireland for trips in 2017.  I know they’ll have as wonderful a time with your delightful destination as I did.  Really appreciate all that you did for us and will always remember your fantastic hospitality.

    Stay well.  Talk soon.

  • “The food tour of South Down was fabulous, beginning a with warm welcome at Tracy’s home on a beautiful sunny spring morning. A chance to make your own bread for breakfast before exploring the stunning scenery of Strangford Lough and the Mournes. Passing great food producers along the way at Finnebrogue and Pheasant Hill Farm we made it to Kilmegan to hear how a local fisherman turned apples from his father’s farm into a cider now enjoyed in Fortnum&Mason by London’s elite. A great story from an even greater storyteller. Spoilt with a choice of top class restaurants on the way back we finished up at the Poacher’s Pocket where we enjoyed world class local produce cooked by a world class local chef.

A great day out in beautiful countryside with great people, great food and great stories – Northern Ireland at its very best!”

  • Hi Tracey, thank you for making our visit to County Down so enjoyable.  It was so personal to visit your

home and to see the baking of the soda farls, not to mention the lunch and vodka later!!!

What a way to end such a lovely visit to Northern Ireland.  Thank you so much for your

    hospitality.  Your macaroons were delicious.
