Vieni a scoprire le antiche tradizioni culinarie e impara a fare il pane irlandese in un cottage tradizionale nel cuore di Strangford Lough, zona di straordinaria bellezza naturalistica non lontano da Belfast.

Benvenuto! Al tuo arrivo, Tracey, la patrona di casa, ti accoglierà con il tipico benvenuto irlandese, una gustosa tazza di tè e tantissimi dolci fatti in casa.

Il corso dura 1.5 ora ed è un corso pratico: Tracey ti mostrerà quali ingredienti usare, come impastare e cuocere diverse tipologie di pane e di dolci.

La lezione inizia con la dimostrazione pratica di come preparare i famosi Fruit Soda Cake, dei dolcini tipici della zona, ricchi di uvetta e canditi.

Dopo aver informato questi deliziosi dolcini, Tracey ti mostrerà come preparare il Potato Bread, pane tipico della zona fatto con le patate. Infine, potrai anche imparare a fare il famoso Soda Bread e a seconda delle tue preferenze potrai aggiungere alcuni ingredienti extra, come uvetta, cannella o melassa.

Come ultima prelibatezza, i golosi saranno contenti di imparare a preparare il Traybake, ossia un “vassoio” ricco di dolci tipici tradizionali. Tracey ti insegnerà a preparare alcuni dolci come Oatmeal biscuits, soda fruit bannock.

Alla fine della lezione potrai assaggiare tutte queste prelibatezze sorseggiando una tazza di tè o caffè. Non mancheranno gustosissime marmellate e conserve fatte in casa proprio da Tracey!

Alla fine del corso potrai portare via con te tutte le prelibatezze cucinate con Tracey!
